We operate our business in Lawrence, KS and provide service
tomuch larger geographical area. Our beautiful company owned
display gardens are open to potential customers and charity groups
by an appointment basis. Our display gardens are utilized in
different ways. You can view the garden to see "what the plant will
look like in your landscape when mature". We grow and propagate
certain "expensive" plant material and are able to them sell at a
reasonable price. We also use the garden for experimentation with
new plants unknown to the area. (USDA climate zone 5b-6a). The
coldest temperature we have experienced at the gardens is -14F,
December 9, 2005 and -16F on Jan 9-10th, 2010. Our most recent
successful and exciting trial plants to survive these temperatures
are Hardy Banana (Musa Basjoo), Hardy Needle palm
(Rhapidophyllum hystrix) and Evergreen Southern Magnolia
(Magnolia Grandiflora 'Bracken's Brown Beauty').
